POLYShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer

An invisible barrier that acts as a shield preventing the absorption of vandalistic markings into the substrate.
Prevents oxidation to painted aluminum, restores faded painted surfaces and reduces dirt build up from clinging to surfaces.
Can be applied to all painted and unpainted surfaces, including: wood, aluminum, metal and vinyl, brick, natural stone, concrete and stucco.
Designed for interior and exterior use.

COVERAGE: Painted surfaces–1,000 to 1,500 sq. ft./gal. depending on the surface finish. Unpainted masonry–100 to 300 sq. ft./gal. depending on the finish and the porosity of the surface.

Description

PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer is an invisible, sacrificial coating formulated to prevent graffiti from damaging painted surfaces. PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer also prevents oxidation to painted aluminum, restores faded painted surfaces and reduces dirt build up. It is recommended to apply PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer to graffiti-free surfaces. PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer can be applied to all interior and exterior painted surfaces including wood, aluminum, metal, vinyl, brick, concrete, and stucco. PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer works great on student lockers, bathroom walls, signs, bus stops, bus interiors and any other painted surface that can be defaced with graffiti.

TECHNICAL DATA:

Color/Form: Opaque tan liquid.

Coverage: On painted surfaces 1,000 to 1,500 sq. ft. per gallon depending on the finish and the porosity of the surface.

SURFACE PREPARATION:	All surfaces should be free of any existing graffiti as well as any dust or other surface contaminates. A test area should be processed before beginning the overall project. If not satisfied with the result, remove immediately with water and start over. The user shall determine the suitability of the product for its intended use and assumes all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.
APPLICATION:	INITIAL TREATMENT APPLICATION: Apply 2 coats of PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer to graffiti free surface. Allow 10 minutes for the first coat to dry before application of the second coat. WIPE ON METHOD: Apply PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer with a sponge or cloth. This method will produce a shine. CONVENTIONAL SPRAY METHOD OR DETAIL GUN: Use light passes to apply PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer in opposite directions. Reduce material to a fog, using only 60/70 pounds of air pressure. Do not apply in heavy coats. This method will produce a flat finish. NOTE: Using an airless paint sprayer, hand pump garden type sprayer or flood type application will NOT produce satisfactory results. DRYING TIME: 24 hours. CLEAN UP: Soap and water. REAPPLICATION: If PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer is removed during the graffiti removal process, a reapplication of one coat of the PolyShield® Regular Graffiti Preventer will only be required to the removed area.
